Join us in celebrating and recognizing the accomplishments of individual local arts that have worked hard in their form of art and bringing art to the community. This is a Formal Affair (Black Tie) event. With live performances, an art exhibiton, dinner and more...
Honorees are: Female Vocalist: Ty Bolden, Michelle Boulden-Hammond and Ayla Dennis Male Vocalist: Pauly Dinero and Devon Beck Musician: Arlinda Cornish-Barnes Performing Artist: Dominique Grande Writer/Arthors: Dr. Tamika Hall and Robin Sample; Visual Artist: Miriam Moran Dance/Performing Arts: Rhonda Meekins and Gray Jimenez Poet/Writer: Jerimichael Mitchell; and Heritage Honors will be presented in memory of the late-Freddie Elliott of the Sensational Royal Lights and James Dwayne Cooper aka "JD" of the Heavenly Sons of Joy and the late-Mel Price, owner of Price Music Store that provided music lessons and instruments to students.
